In an interview when she was 28, the fighter was once asked if she would like to have children someday. Rousey suggested that her not having children would be a disservice to humanity. The fighter said, “Definitely, I’m an ovarian goldmine. I can’t waste these genes.”

In September 2021, Rousey gave birth to her first child with her husband, Travis Browne. Browne announced the birth of their child on his Instagram. The former UFC heavyweight captioned the post and wrote, “Welcome to this world La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō Browne. You are so incredibly loved!”

Being a parent is a very special moment in the life of a couple. Similarly, before giving birth to her daughter, Ronda Rousey had already stepped into a parental role as she serves as a stepmom to her husband’s two kids from his previous marriage.
The former 135-pound queen suggested that stepping into parenthood was a transformative experience for her. The fighter said that her looking out for an entire family gave her immense joy. In an interview, Rousey said, “I was just by myself and a bachelorette completely content to be like, ‘Ok, There’s nobody out there for me. F–k this!”

“Then it went from that, looking out for number one, to completely an entire family. It taught me how much joy I can get in not really thinking about myself,” concluded Rousey by describing her love for her family.
Parenthood is indeed an important step in life and Rousey’s fans are always happy to see how the former 135-pound champion has embraced this role.
