In a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, the podcaster spoke about these companies generating AI-developed content. He shared a story that he had with one such company.

Joe Rogan reveals his legal trouble with AI companies

The UFC commentator spoke about his trouble with his AI-generated podcasts of his that went viral on the internet. Rogan spoke at length about the issue with his guests Bill Ottman at JRE #1970.

Rogan said, “I’m getting sent these things where I’m doing ads for products that I have never used, never talked about.” The podcaster also added, “And you know these companies. We tried to chase one of them down. I think it was one of them testosterone booster or something like that. But when you do go down this rabbit hole legally, stick a lawyer on it, they’re like Jesus Christ.”

Additionally, Rogan said that these companies are difficult to find because of them being a part of shell corporations and overseas. The host continued, “There’s a web like these shell companies, shell corporations, these are very difficult to find, all overseas. Very difficult to find who’s actually making this and how they would profit off of it.”

Joe Rogan also voiced his concerns about AI and ChatGPT

The podcaster had previously spoken about ChatGPT leaning towards political ideas. Rogan said, “This is one of the things that’s most disturbing about things like ChatGPT.”

He continued, “It has very specific things that it won’t discuss or talk about. It’s not like it’s apolitical. It is very political. It leans towards certain political ideas. It’s not looking at just information objectively”.
