The Logan Paul vs. Conor McGregor saga continues to build despite the rumors of a boxing fight no longer in the scene. Dana White, the head honcho of the UFC, confirmed to fight fans that no such boxing match would take place anytime soon. In fact, it would be the UFC where the Irishman makes his return to combat sports. But that did not stop Logan Paul from continuing to build the rivalry between himself and the Irishman.
‘The Maverick’ recently made an appearance on WWE’s RAW, where he was greeted with loud boos, and the audience nearly prevented him from speaking. The YouTuber-turned-WWE superstar announced his intention to compete in the Royal Rumble and face Gunther at WrestleMania. However, what made the heel moment even more interesting was that even before his speech, he took a shot at Conor McGregor.
During his entrance, a little fan in the front row held a sign that read, “Conor > Logan.” Definitely irked by the support the child showed for the MMA sensation, the 29-year-old took the sign from the fan and ripped it into two in front of the camera. Being one of the favorite heels of WWE fans in recent days, he then uploaded the proud moment on his Instagram with the caption, “kid trippin.”

Well, from the Instagram story and the gesture, it looks like Logan Paul wants the bad blood to continue brewing between him and the former UFC double champion. It is worth noting that the 29-year-old discussed his status as a “full-time superstar” on Netflix’s Kickoff Show, a week before Raw premiered on the OTT platform.

‘The Maverick’ was one of the attendees at the ceremony, where he confirmed that he would officially be a superstar on the Raw roster. Not just that, he also promised to become the WWE Champion. So, it looks like fighting Conor McGregor doesn’t occupy the top spot on his list of goals for 2025. However, it is the UFC boss who continues to shoulder the blame.
Conor McGregor and Logan Paul blame the UFC for canceling the bout
Despite Logan Paul constantly taking shots and insisting on a fight against Conor McGregor, ‘The Notorious’ has made it clear that it will not happen. The Irishman got into an altercation with the Paul brothers recently in what seemed like another clear indication that there will be a fight. However, the former UFC double champion revealed on The Schmo that the UFC is simply not interested and has pulled the plug on the event. It is shocking for many fight fans since the fight had a staggering purse of $250 million!

The Irishman said, “It is what it is. The UFC just aren’t into it. The offer was there on the table, in writing.” ‘The Notorious’ added, “In between this waiting period that we find ourselves in before I can get back to the Octagon, it made perfect sense on the calendar to go ahead with it. The UFC weren’t into it. The WWE, I’m not sure what their interest in it was.”
This refusal even led Jake Paul to call out Dana White for refusing to organize the fight. According to ‘The Problem Child’ on X, the head honcho didn’t let Conor McGregor fight Logan Paul because of his hatred for Jake Paul. However, he further added that hopefully his theory is wrong and Dana White is not making decisions based on something petty. With almost a guarantee of major money being made, why is the UFC refusing to let Conor McGregor fight Logan Paul? What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
