Mark Zuckerberg vs. Elon Musk has been the talk of the town for the past few days. An MMA fight between the two tech billionaires was the last thing fight fans expected to see this year. Recently, UFC president Dana White came out and confirmed that all concerned parties were serious about the fight.

Meanwhile, Zuckerberg came out with another sparring footage that has impressed fans. The 39-year-old first caught the MMA world’s attention after a sparring video with his coach Khai Wu last September. Earlier this year, the Meta CEO surprised everyone after winning a gold and a silver medal in gi and no gi Jiu-Jitsu competitions.

Zuckerberg’s performances impressed many prominent members of the MMA community. When the Facebook founder appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience, he explained his motivations for doing Jiu-Jitsu and the details of his martial arts journey.

Now, he has partnered with a prominent JRE guest for a sparring session- podcaster and AI researcher Lex Fridman. Fridman has sat down with Joe Rogan on the podcast almost 10 times. The 39-year-old is also a Jiu-Jitsu black belt, like Rogan. Therefore, fans were happy to see Zuckerberg train with a like-minded personality.

Fans react to Mark Zuckerberg training with Lex Fridman

Lex Fridman hosted Mark Zuckerberg in a recent podcast episode. Following their conversation, the pair spent a few rounds on the mat. Fridman uploaded a clip of the same on his YouTube channel.

Watching Zuckerberg train with the black belt was a treat for the fans, many of whom appreciated the Meta CEO’s passion for the discipline. Many fans also praised Fridman for his approach to the session, allowing Zuckerberg the leniency to find and capitalize on positions, thus making it a fruitful learning experience.

Following are some of the comments from the fans under the video:

  • It’s actually nice seeing Mark as a human and not a robot.
  • Respect to Mark. He can be doing literally anything else, yet he trains.
  • This is the first time I considered that Mark might just be human after all. Not even an AI joke, but its really hard to believe a tech billionaire could ever appear relatable in anyway.
  • It’s good to see people train without ego. Great example of what is possible between friends.
  • Great training data. Can’t wait to see how the model does in production.
  • You have to admit that Mark puts in the effort in to learn that stuff in his free time.
  • For anybody who thinks mark ACTUALLY tapped lex you’re very WRONG he was moving in a way that was teaching and helping Mark get better. When you’re a good black belt you don’t care about winning.
