The famed UFC commentator was surprised after hearing the first AI podcast of him interviewing Steve Jobs. He mentioned how he never met him. However, the podcast went viral among users on social media. In a recent JRE episode, Rogan discussed yet another AI interview, and this time it was him interviewing Sam Altman. He said, “There are so many hours of me talking that they [AI] could easily have me say a bunch of things. And so they put together this recording of me saying a bunch of things that I never said .” (33:38)

Joe Rogan then mentions the interviews with Steve Jobs and then with the CEO of OpenAI. “They [AI] did one with me doing a podcast with Steve Jobs, which is wild. And now, there is a new one with me doing a podcast with Sam Altman and it’s a full podcast.” The 55-year-old continued, “It’s a proof of concept. They are showing that this is something that can be done,” said the famous podcast host.

Rogan claims that said AI conversations are monotonous

The 55-year-old podcast host claims that the conversations curated by the AI have no human touch to them. He said, “There is no flavor to it, which is interesting.” Rogan added, “If you and I are having a conversation, then there is fun. It’s like, there’s laughing, you know, there’s human interaction. This was just like question [and] answer.”

Joe Rogan also believes that this kind of technology can later go on to create an individual’s personality even if it is interesting to hear these AI conversations. “They will be able to sort of code your personality in the future… and maybe even have some weird interactions that are just silly.”
