Michael ‘The Hammer’ Coleman holds the record of being the first heavyweight champion of the UFC. Around, four years ago, the retired heavyweight champion had made an appearance on The Hannibal TV and explained why he pushed Rogan. While many believed that the 59-year-old tried to hurt the JRE Host on purpose, Coleman had his reasons.

During the video, he said, ” Just gave him a hug. And lot of times when wrestlers give each other hugs it turns into something more than that. You know Joe Rogan hit me with a nice slick arm drag and he took my back. I got hip issues at the time and all of a sudden, out of instincts, I had no choice but to turn around and face him. And I would say I gave him a gentle push because I could have gave him a hundred times more. But thankfully, because I guess he could have been. I liked him and Joe Rogan as a friend. I think he’s cool as hell. I think he’s funny as s..t . I think he’s awesome but I heard he was pissed. But no another, he makes it very clear. No he just can’t believe how freaking strong I was.”
