After Proposing to Dee Devlin 3 Years Ago, Conor McGregor Sends a Special Message to Fiancée Amid Recent Controversies

But there is one person who has stood through thick and thin with him: his girlfriend, Dee Devlin. Before the Irish fighter broke into the MMA scene, he had only one dream. It was neither money nor fame, which he currently has an abundance of.

The Irishman quit his job as a plumber to pursue his MMA career, and, with no sizeable income, his girlfriend kept the cash flow going by working multiple jobs. He wanted to earn enough to take her out of work and travel the world with her. When Devlin celebrated her 36th birthday, ‘The Notorious’ penned a heartfelt message for her.

The 35-year-old fighter turned to his social media handle and posted a series of photos that gave a glimpse into the birthday bash. He also expressed his love for his fiancee as he wrote, “Happy birthday Mammy I love you so much ❤️”.

In addition, he also left a comment on the post, as he replied, “Fine at brekkie Mammy”.

This emotional gesture indicates things are still sailing smoothly in their over 15-year relationship. However, the antics of ‘Mystic Mac’ are called into question by the fans as they believe the fighter has not returned the show of faith in Devlin.

But these small outbursts haven’t dented their relationship, and it might be soon before they both officially tie the knot. The couple got engaged three years ago on Devlin’s birthday, and the close friends are waiting for Devlin to walk down the aisle in a white dress. That will turn out to be a perfect addition to their love story, which started in a nightclub.

McGregor and Devlin- 15 years of togetherness

The couple met in a nightclub in 2008, where Devlin worked as a waitress. “She seemed like a nice girl,” McGregor declared, as he soon developed a liking for Devlin. The pair soon hit it off, and Devlin later supported his MMA dream as the Dubliner quit both his job and home.

Devlin worked multiple jobs to keep the family afloat. “My girlfriend worked very hard throughout the years and stuck by me when I had essentially absolutely nothing,” McGregor admitted as he discussed the contribution of Devlin to his life. Currently, Devlin doubles up as his girlfriend, as well as managing his finances.
