

Leon Edwards is currently in Las Vegas to register his presence in the festivities of International Fight Week. The UFC’s annual event will culminate with Saturday night’s stacked event, UFC 290. While the UFC champion is catering to his promotional duties, he is also enjoying his time outside it. Recently, he was spotted alongside NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal. This time, the fans have spotted him enjoying the vibrant nightlife of Las Vegas.
‘Rocky’ recently turned to his Instagram handle as he shared some snippets of his lively night. The 24-hour city that goes into a party zone when the sun goes down, has enticed the Brit.

Leon Edwards enjoys his time off the promotional duties
Notably, the welterweight champion joined the middleweight champion Israel Adesanya on Friday night at Zouk Group Club. The duo was invited to a party whose major attractions included performances by comedian Kevin Hart and Cole World. The Zouk Group’s Instagram handle posted some of these photos and it appears the UFC duo had a blast that night. However, soon the 29-year-old champion will push aside these festivities and gear up for his next challenge.
Who is Edwards fighting next?
The British fighter will face the former title contender Colby Covington next. Initially, the champion expressed his discontent and lashed out at the promotion for picking a fighter who spent the better part of the last year without any action in the cage.

The welterweight champion hasn’t mellowed his stance and has yet to accept the ‘Chaos’ as next in line. He still casts doubts about whether the American fighter is the deserving candidate for having a crack at his title.

He recently told ESPN, “He [Colby Covington] hasn’t fought for over 2 years. He’s coming off 1 win against [Jorge] Masvidal. So I don’t think he’s the deserving guy for the belt”.
Regardless of Edwards’ skepticism about Covington’s status, Covington’s ability to move the needle is well known. The promotion is working to push the fight and any card featuring Covington is almost sure to do well on the PPV numbers.
