The final UFC PPV of the year had an anti-climactic end, as both the main event and co-main event of UFC 282 ended in suspect decisions. While Paddy Pimblett secured a unanimous decision win over Jared Gordon, Jan Blachowicz and Magomed Ankalaev fought to a split draw. The conclusions of the two most important fights on the card frustrated UFC President Dana White. However, he agreed Pimblett earned his victory in the cage rightfully. Recently, he had a curt response to a fan who complained about the fight being a robbery.
