No matter what the world says, Conor McGregor will always have a support system in Dee Devlin. Despite the 36-year-old Irish star facing shiploads of backlash owing to the court ruling holding the UFC superstar liable for sexual assault in 2018, Devlin stood with him as his shield: “We trust one another and love one another.” No doubt, his legal issues dropped his professional momentum. For starters, the first brand deal to back off was Hitman developer IO Interactive. In their official statement, “We take this matter very seriously and cannot ignore its implications. Consequently, we will begin removing all content featuring Mr. McGregor from our storefronts starting today.” Others too followed suit.

And when we say others followed suit, we mean over 1,000 outlets across Ireland as a mass boycott of products associated with McGregor. Not only this, Proximo Spirits which bought Conor’s Proper No. Twelve whiskey brand in 2021, a business valued at some $130 million at the time, decided to not use his “name and likeness” in marketing the product. The list is endless. But shortly after, legal insiders revealed that McGregor, along with his partner Dee and their four children, “fleeing” off to Dubai from their luxurious K Club residence for an extended stay. And by the looks of it, the recent update that saw him partying and celebrating the New Year with his family confirmed it.

On Wednesday, McGregor took to Instagram and shared a handful of visuals from his New Year party in Dubai. The post showed a few visuals of the ‘Mystic Mac’, his fiance, Dee Devlin, and their children, enjoying themselves near the famous Burj Al Arab. The fireworks in the background along with the light show were indeed out of this world. ‘The Notorious’ took to the captions and wrote, “New Years Eve 2024 celebrations 🇮🇪 🎉 #ByeBye24 #HELLO25 #LookingGood.” Soon after the former UFC double champion shared the post on IG, Devlin took to the comments section and dropped a loved emoji, a partying emoji, and a heart emoji.

Well, the rumor that has been running around the MMA realm suggests that the ‘Mystic Mac’ has left Ireland along with his family, to Dubai. Most of the mixed martial artist’s social media posts suggested that he had been in Dubai for an extended period of time.

This might be the reason why the McGregor family was celebrating the New Year in Dubai. But the fighting community got to know one thing. Devlin never really backed out from supporting the ‘Mystic Mac’. Even when the entire world stood against him, it was his fiance who defended him.

Devlin was indeed the one who was hurt the most because of McGregor’s civil case. After the Dublin High Court shifted its judgment against ‘The Notorious’, the netizens began wondering whether Devlin would walk away from McGregor, or stay with him. But what she did surprised many. She didn’t only stay loyal to the former UFC champ but also defended him from the severe backlash he received because of Hand.

Taking to social media, Devlin lashed out at Hand for the trouble she caused McGregor. She quoted, “Imagine a woman, with her own boyfriend and child, texting provocative pictures of herself to another woman’s man with a family and child on the way. This woman claims to know me, yet still went ahead and sent messages and pictures of herself over and over to my man? Really? While out on a 3-day bender, texting excuses to her own child at home about where ‘mammy’ is on Saturday afternoon, Saturday night, Sunday morning, Sunday afternoon, Sunday night into Monday morning.”

This wasn’t the first time Devlin showed her unwavering support for her partner. Back when the Irishman shared a picture of himself with his son after getting fresh haircuts to welcome 2025, Devlin came forth with a loving gesture and dropped 3 emojis filled with love in the comments. People from all corners of the world have now begun to look at Devlin’s loyalty to McGregor as the key to putting him on a better road.
