It is still unknown as to how long Nurmagomedov will be out of action. Besides, shoulder injuries typically take about three to six months to heal completely. In addition to that, it can take up to a year for fighters to regain their full strength and their range of motion. But what does it mean for Cory Sandhagen? Well, he is still set to fight in Nashville.
UFC looking for Nurmagomedov’s replacement
Cory Sandhagen started off his UFC career with five wins in a row. However, he stumbled in between with three losses. Now, ‘The Sandman’ has regained his winning ways with a 2-fight winning steak and recently came off a win over Ecuadorian star, Marlon Vera. While fans were not happy with him taking on a lower-ranked Umar Nurmagomedov, he was ready for the challenge. However, the matchup inevitably got canceled.
