The triggering point of the entire Zuckerberg-Musk controversy was the Meta CEO’s latest invention, Threads. A few weeks ago, Zuckerberg announced that he will be launching ‘Threads’, a social media platform to rival Musk’s Twitter. Fans considered this a smart and strategic move, as the Tesla owner’s latest changes on Twitter since his $44 billion purchase had left many fans dissatisfied.
However, the announcement got a fierce response from Musk, which started the entire speculation of a fight between the two. Now, Threads has launched, and millions of users are already joining the app. Among the new joiners are Musk’s close friend Joe Rogan, former UFC champ Francis Ngannou, and most recently, Israel Adesanya.
Adesanya posted a screenshot of his newly-formed Threads account on his Instagram story. Along with it, the middleweight champ also added an emoji of a thread going through a needle, hinting at the name of the new app. Many fans are considering this a clear statement that the Stylebender’s support lies in Zuckerberg’s corner.
