Joe Rogan is a simple man. He loves fights, comedy, bears, elk meat, hunting, cold plunges, and psychedelics. And also Teslas and Elon Musk, his close friend whom he recently termed as a ‘savior’ free speech online. Even the tech mogul has been accused of hypocrisy regarding his ‘free speech maximalist’ stance, as evidenced by his banning of Alex Jones and journalists critical of him.

In a conversation with UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley, Rogan disclosed why he loves the new Tesla Model X Plaid, which drew a response from the tech mogul himself, who made a surprising revelation about the car.

On a recent episode of his podcast with ‘Suga’, Joe Rogan explained why he loves his Tesla X Plaid. He said, “I’m faster in my Plaid than my Porsche, and it makes no sound… It time travels. 0 to 60 in 1.9 seconds for a four-door sedan. It’s bonkers,” Rogan told O’Malley.

O’Malley agreed with Rogan and said that he had been stopped by the same police officer in the same place twice because of how fast he inadvertently was going in his Tesla X Plaid. “How crazy is that Tesla Model X Plaid? …I got pulled over again in literally the exact same highway, same neighborhood, same cop. Those Xs are insane. Even on the highway, you’re going 90, it feels like you are going 60,” O’Malley said.

“I taught my 15-year-old how to drive in that. It’s always on Ludicrous Mode. It’s easy to control. That’s the difference between that and other high-powered cars. You can drive very slowly in that easily. It’s like the perfect car to drive around,” Rogan added.

This conversation prompted a response from the man himself. Elon Musk

One of the main reasons for Elon Musk is his use of memes and pop culture on social media. And anyone who has been following Musk will not be surprised that his most successful venture is based on an 80’s comedy.
