

In recent years, we have seen several mixed martial artists make the transition to professional boxing. Some of these fighters have done it to prove themselves in a new sport, while others have done it for financial gain or to extend their careers. Vitor Belfort is one of the latest MMA fighters to join the boxing world, and he has expressed his desire to fight some big names.
Belfort competed in his first professional boxing match on April 11th, 2006, taking on Josemario Neves. After bringing his opponent to the ground three times, Belfort won by TKO within the first minute. Belfort returned to boxing after nearly 17 years in a bout against Ronaldo Souza under Jorge Masvidal’s Gamebred Boxing promotion.

Vitor Belfort drops his boxing fight list
In a recent interview with ‘MMA Junkie’, Belfort expressed his desire to fight many big names. The names include Logan Paul and his brother Jake, as well as Tommy Fury, Anderson Silva, and Nate and Nick Diaz. Belfort believes that a fight with the Paul brothers would break pay-per-view records, and he is willing to fight both of them on the same night.
“I think these Paul brothers avoid me so much. But I would love to fight one of them. I can fight both of you guys in the same night if you guys want.” Belfort is also interested in fighting Anthony Pettis, as well as Tommy Fury, who is the half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

Belfort also expressed his admiration for Nate and Nick Diaz, calling them “real fighters” and “brawlers.” He believes that a fight with either of the Diaz brothers would be a war and a legendary fight. “I would like to fight Nate Diaz and Nick Diaz. Both. Either. They’re great boxers. I think it would be a war. I would love to fight one of those brothers, I have so much respect for them.”
Vitor Belfort’s UFC career
Belfort has fought some of the biggest names in MMA, including Jon Jones and Anderson Silva. Belfort was known for his aggressive fighting style, knockout power, and speed. His UFC career was filled with highs and lows. He won the UFC light heavyweight title in 2004, but he also failed several drug tests during his career. Belfort retired from the UFC in 2018 with a record of 26-14.

With 14 victories under his belt, Belfort is tied for the third most in UFC history. Belfort, when 19 years old, also became the youngest fighter to have won in the octagon at that time.
