Anderson Silva recently defeated Tito Ortiz in a much-anticipated boxing match via a 1st round TKO. This was Silva’s second boxing fight since leaving the UFC and ‘The Spider’ has won both. Ever since Silva’s amazing victory against Ortiz, people have been speculating as to what next for the fighter.
Recently, during an interview with MMA Junkie Silva revealed what he wants to do next. He said, “I just go home right now and rest a little bit, then back to training. We’ll see, I am preparing my mind and my body for the next challenge. And I try to enjoy the new challenge I have and I’m very lucky.”
“I’m very lucky I’m here to do my job. When I go inside the ring, I go back to my 7-year-old and start, you know, hang out around the arena. That’s amazing for me. I love it.”

When Silva is competing inside the ring, he still looks like a young fighter, giving it his all to win the fight. However, the fighter is 46 years old and has been a professional fighter since 1997. Therefore, at this point in his career, Silva does not want to be always competing and traveling.
‘The Spider’ wishes to spend time at home and rest with his family. Still, though, there is much talk about when Silva will return to action and who he will fight next.

There has been much talk about Silva facing either of the Paul brothers on his return. While there also was much talk about Silva facing MMA legend Georges St-Pierre in a boxing match. However, that fight is unlikely as GSP is still in contract with the UFC.

Since Silva’s splendid victory against Ortiz, many people have been predicting who ‘The Spider’ will face next. There are various fighters who could face Silva next, one of them being Vitor Belfort. Belfort was recently victorious in his fight against Evander Holyfield and therefore might want to face the UFC legend next.

Apart from Belfort, the Paul brothers and even Tyron Woodley can be someone Silva faces next. ‘The Chosen One’ just fought in his 1st professional boxing fight and lost to Jake Paul. Therefore, Woodley would look to continue his boxing career and might look to face ‘The Spider’ next.
