UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya made the news last month after a social media standoff with his ex-girlfriend. The 33-year-old unloaded on his former partner and leaked some fiery conversations between the two. Regardless of the public opinion on the issue, Adesanya unapologetically stood his ground.
He also likened his situation with his ex-girlfriend to that of Moroccan footballer Achraf Hakimi, with news reports stating that the PSG star’s wife tried to divorce him and claim half his assets. Adesanya’s social media posts made his stance on the issue abundantly clear. Such behavior from women was a clear red flag for the champion.
Now, the New Zealander has revealed a red flag he sees in himself. So anyone who might be interested in him might want to take notes.

His latest Twitter post highlights this side of his character.
The City Kickboxing stalwart is also an ardent anime fan. He makes several references to various animes and uses them as sources of inspiration as well. Adesanya shared TikTok of a couple of girls talking about red flags in men. They all unanimously agreed that a guy being interested in anime was “childish”, “immature”, and “nerdy.” They were of the opinion that guys who were into anime should grow up.
Adesanya retweeted the clip with a series of red flag emojis in the caption. ‘Stylebender’ was essentially warning everyone that if they considered animes as red flags, then he would be a carnival.
