However, there might be an alternative that emerged in Russian and eastern European countries that is now gaining traction in America- power-slap competition. While Dana White gears up for his own competition, the former UFC champion Michael Bisping has already hailed the idea. Further, the Brit talked about a similar experience during his shoot in Bulgaria and the aftereffects still persisted.

In episode #431 of the ‘Believe You Me’ podcast, Michael Bisping sat with the UFC stars Arnold Allen and Anthony Smith. The trio discussed the recent UFC events’ aftermath and the developments in the MMA world. Following this, the Brit shared a painful incident he experienced at the hands of his co-actor, Martyn Ford.

What did Michael Bisping reveal about his painful experience?

In one segment, Michael Bisping was quizzed about Dana White’s Power Slap League. Subsequently, the MMA fighter not only admitted that he found the competition interesting, but also revealed how Martyn Ford messed up his jaw.

The 43-year-old fighter specified that the eventful event happened during a fight scene with Martyn Ford. Also, the UFC Hall of Famer declared Ford as “gigantic” and informed that the actor would join the podcast in the future.

Afterward, ‘The Count’ stated, “But, um, he’s like six f*****g eight and weighs like 350 pounds. He’s a gigantic human being and he punched me in the jaw right. And I still, and this is like six-seven weeks, about six weeks ago now, I still can’t bite properly, it’s that jaws all still swollen at the back.”

However, the MMA fighter-turned-commentator pointed out that he had experienced the same experience “a million times“. Therefore, dispelling the worries of the fans. Bisping continued and added that while it took a bit to go down, the experience was horrible.

Lastly, the Anaheim resident concluded, “So I was gonna say I would have to bow out [of the slap competition].”

Martyn Ford called out The Rock once

The popular name in bodybuilding, Martyn Ford also built a successful career in Hollywood movies, too. Notably, the Brit bodybuilder, in an interview with ‘Muscle and Health’ disclosed his dream boxing fight against the former WWE star Dwayne Johnson.

Significantly, the ‘World’s Scariest Man’ pointed out that both the famed personalities would make a fortune. Additionally, Ford hailed the WWE star as a “great athlete“.
