During a recent interview with Brendan Schaub, Michael Chandler opened up on his experience of coaching against Conor McGregor. While talking about the Irishman’s behavior, the 37-year-old said, “Conor’s definitely good at turning it on when the cameras come on, you know.”
He further added, “He becomes ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor. And outside of the cameras, he’s actually very similar in both senses to be honest with you. But it’s definitely like, hey, when it’s time to go- it’s show time. And you know we’re not worried about feelings, we’re not worried about what we say, we’re not worried about what happens. We just kind of see what happens.”
On the other hand, a moment from the TUF 31 trailer which has grabbed the most attention is McGregor hitting Michael Chandler’s face. But seems like the former Bellator star didn’t find anything wrong with it!
