Dana White and Co.’s celebration of Mexican Independence Day this year is going to be one for the history books. A graphic during the recent UFC on ESPN 64 in Mexico City confirmed that the promotion will present yet another annual edition of Noche UFC at UFC 320. But guess what? The pay-per-view won’t be taking place in the promotion’s home of the United States of America.

A concept that started with a Fight Night in 2023 ended up paying dividends when Dana White put Noche UFC in a pay-per-view last year – UFC 306. The event that took place in September last year was a one-off event at the $2.3 billion Sphere in Las Vegas, and the promotion made history by making over $22 million at the gate alone. UFC 306 set a new record for the biggest gate collection ever, and the CEO intends to continue this tradition, but this time, there will be more Mexican people in the crowd than in the last couple of times.

Dana White is bringing a Noche UFC 320 to one of the centers of business, art, culture, technology, and tourism in Mexico, Guadalajara. Scheduled for the 13th of September 2025, three days before Mexican Independence Day, the PPV will take place at the 15,000-capacity Arena Guadalajara. Meanwhile, no fights have been announced so far, and there are no details on the card as of now.

Well, the arena capacity might be a letdown, given that it’s a massive PPV that will probably feature mostly Mexican fights because the recent Fight Night event took place at the 22,300-capacity Arena CDMX. Could that spark an issue as we get closer to UFC 320? That remains to be seen. Nevertheless, the Mexican fans could be up for a treat because their biggest star has expressed wanting to fight during the UFC’s Mexican Independence Day celebrations.

Former 2-time champion wants Dana White to put him on the Noche UFC 320 card

Brandon Moreno finally broke his duck on his home soil as his winless streak in Mexico is over. ‘The Assassin Baby’ outpointed former title challenger Steve Erceg, who racked up a third loss on the trot. An emotional Moreno thanked the crowd after the fight for their faith in him despite having lost in his previous fight outing in Mexico. Rright after that, he called out to Dana White and Co., especially Hunter Campbell, who was in attendance, to give him a prominent spot on Noche UFC 320. Moreno’s confident that he can “move the needle.”

“Hunter [Campbell], man, I mean, who really knows what I deserve? I don’t know what I deserve… But, man, I really believe I can move the needle. Let’s go to the pay-per-view in Guadalajara. Let’s f—ing go, man. Let’s f—ing do it,” the former 2-time champion stated during his post-fight interview. Campbell’s response? A gentle smile and a nod. Well, who better to fight in an event dedicated to Mexican fans than one of their own? It remains to be seen how Dana White goes about his decision for UFC 320.

Well, at UFC 306, the star of the night was the venue, the visual spectacle known as the Sphere. Hence, Dana White may not be too sure if a PPV on Mexican Independence Day this year would sell as much as it did the last time in the US, so moving the PPV to Mexico may just be a brilliant idea.
