Francis Ngannou appears to be fed up with any questions related to Jon Jones. A fight between Ngannou and Jones was on the cards when both of these individuals were present on the UFC roster but the Cameroonian’s decision to ditch the UFC for better deals closed all the doors for their clash. Despite ‘The Predator’ leaving the world’s premier MMA promotion and becoming a prominent face of the PFL, he has repeatedly humored questions about fighting Jones, even giving his thoughts on the UFC 309 heavyweight showdown between Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic. However, it now looks like the former UFC and current PFL heavyweight champ has had enough of all of the questions.

While having a conversation with Seconds Out, Ngannou initially hailed Jon Jones for his victory against Stipe Miocic, however, when the host asked him about a possible matchup between him and ‘Bones’, ‘The Predator’ asserted that he would not like to have any cross-promotions. In fact, Francis Ngannou seemed annoyed about the constant back-and-forth, “It’s been four years that I’ve been saying it, I’m confused that people keep asking me this question”, said the PFL champion.

He continued, “It’s been four years. That’s not my problem, I don’t care about it anymore. If it happens, yes, if it doesn’t, f–k it.” S͏ince leaving t͏h͏e͏ UFC, Fran͏cis͏ Ng͏ann͏ou͏ h͏as͏ ͏tak͏en͏ ͏on͏ hi͏gh͏-p͏͏r͏ofile͏͏ ͏box͏in͏͏g͏ m͏atc͏hes ͏aga͏ins͏t͏ hea͏vywe͏ig͏h͏t ͏͏i͏c͏o͏n͏s͏ Tyson͏ Fury and͏ A͏nthony ͏Jos͏͏͏h͏ua. In addition to those boxing endeavors, Ngannou marked his return to the MMA world in October. ‘The Predator’ fought and defeated the Brazilian Renan Ferreira to become the PFL’s heavyweight champion.

What’s next for the former UFC heavyweight champ? There have been talks floating around in the combat sports world that the Saudi Administration, specifically Turki Alalshikh, might rein in both Francis Ngannou and Jon Jones for a heavyweight clash, but will it ever materialize? Well, the Cameroon-French fighter may want to face off against Tyson Fury once again, rather than a clash with the MMA GOAT.

Francis Ngannou believes a fight with Tyson Fury is more interesting

Francis Ngannou’s initial boxing fight against Tyson Fury was nothing but a masterclass from the Cameroon-French fighter. Despite the loss, ‘The Predator’ seriously gave the former heavyweight boxing champion quite the beating. However, Ngannou’s second boxing fight against Anthony Joshua didn’t go as planned as the British heavyweight knocked Ngannou out to clinch his victory. Reagrdless, ‘The Predator’ appears to be willing to clash against Tyson Fury in a rematch more than Anthony Joshua.

What’s your perspective on:

Should Ngannou prioritize a rematch with Fury over a long-awaited fight with Jones?

Have an interesting take?

“The rematch with Joshua, to be honest, I felt very off and not very comfortable in that fight,” Ngannou said. “It’s something that could happen, but what I do know for sure is that I want a rematch with Fury. Again, I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but I didn’t like the Joshua fight. I think things wasn’t right, nothing [was] right, and if it’s going to be the same scenario, I’m not interested. Something unfair definitely happened.”

He further added, “I don’t have the full picture, but I have seen some [things] myself that [I felt] wasn’t right. I was in the locker room for almost four hours, for example, which is not something that happens in a fight, so just from there. Not to [mention] the entire week.” The PFL’s heavyweight champion will have to defend his belt once again, but before that, it seems like he wants to mark another boxing fight. Regardless, what are your thought’s on Ngannou’s fighting career? State your thought’s in the comments below.
