Why New Orleans? Poirier offers a compelling rationale behind his choice. Well, according to ‘The Diamond’, he has already paid his dues by taking the previous fight in Salt Lake City – Gaethje’s home turf. Now, while he’s looking for retribution, he is specifically favoring making the potential fight happen in New Orleans, a city where his roots are embedded.
