UFC Hall of Famer Khabib Nurmagomedov was among the many celebrities who attended the F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. There, ‘The Eagle’ caught up with Hollywood star Chris Hemsworth and sent social media into a frenzy. Moreover, Nurmagomedov also caught up with Brazilian soccer legend Ronaldo Nazario and made a stunning confession about the 2-time World Cup winner.

Khabib Nurmagomedov may be a legend in the sport of MMA, but he also has an interest in other sports as well. Having spent time with Islam Makhachev prior to UFC 294, he returned to Abu Dhabi to attend the final F1 race in the UAE. Nurmagomedov even caught up with some of the biggest personalities at the Grand Prix.

‘The Eagle’ shared a few pictures during his time at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix with all the notable personalities he had the chance to meet. For starters, he was spotted with ‘Thor’ actor Chris Hemsworth, setting social media abuzz. Prior to their meet at the Abu Dhabi GP, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Chris Hemsworth had never been spotted together.

Khabib Nurmagomedov then shared a few moments with some notable soccer players. One of them was Manchester City’s star midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, who’s considered one of the greatest soccer players of the modern era. Thereafter, Nurmagomedov reunited with Ronaldo Nazario, whom he’s been the biggest fan of since he was a young boy.

Khabib Nurmagomedov and Ronaldo Nazario seemed happy to be meeting again as they snapped a picture together for all the fans on social media to see. Moreover, they also engaged in a heartwarming conversation, where ‘The Eagle’ reminded the Brazilian how big of a fan he is of the soccer legend.

Ronaldo Nazario is nicknamed ‘El Fenomeno’ for his outstanding soccer skills and goal-scoring prowess. He was one of the most prolific soccer players at the time when he was an active professional player. But that did not take away the fact that Ronaldo also followed Khabib Nurmagomedov’s MMA career. He had a lot of respect for ‘The Eagle’ and his accolades. Recalling the first time he met the Dagestani legend, He said, “In Las Vegas, we met… and he was half of this… [someone] told me he’s gonna beat the best fighter in the world.”

Similarly, Khabib Nurmagomedov also left and did not miss the opportunity to show his knowledge about the career of Ronaldo. He has been a lifelong soccer fan and reiterated the time Ronaldo spent while playing for Barcelona. “You played 47 games for Barcelona and scored 49 [goals]. With numbers, I am good,” said ‘The Eagle’.

Both Ronaldo Nazario and Khabib Nurmagomedov have left a lasting impression on the sporting world with their individual achievements.
