The assault charges against UFC star Conor McGregor, stemming from an alleged incident in Ibiza, have now been dropped. 40-year-old Samantha Murphy of Ireland, who had previously filed a lawsuit against McGregor for the alleged assault, has now withdrawn her case. While further details remain unknown, the former UFC double champion can now breathe a sigh of relief.

Conor McGregor celebrated his 34th birthday on a yacht in Ibiza, Spain in July 2022. “The Notorious” was still taking time off due to his leg injury and had not competed in over a year. McGregor had also shared images and videos of the said party on his social media as well.

Murphy also claimed that she suffered a broken arm during the alleged incident and added that she jumped off the yacht into the water to save herself. In addition to the broken arm, she claimed to have sustained extensive physical bruising as well.
