Joe Rogan, a staunch advocate of cold plunges, might advise against it under specific circumstances. Vouching for its miraculous effects, the color commentator disclosed the viral technique eased his inflammation and body soreness. Further, it dissipated his soreness. His endorsement of cold plunges also engulfed UFC president Dana White. However, he might advise against it under the influence of a hangover.

The famed podcaster admitted to his eccentricities when he appeared in the latest episode of The Joe Rogan Experience. The 55-year-old never shies away from bringing forth his authentic self and shares amusing incidents and accolades involving him. This time, he filled in the boots of a spirits connoisseur as he shared his understanding of kava and then tequila.

In a conversation with Theo Von at Ep. #1994 of JRE, when asked how the standup comic felt after kava, he revealed he liked it. Furthermore, he felt relaxed and a want to dance a little takes over him. Another upside of the Pacific drink was no hangover.

He continued and said, “Yeah, I like it. I don’t think it is bad. I always judge like how do I feel after. And after it, I feel fun. Like dude, it was no hangover.”

Then the popular TV presenter drew a parallel with his own experiences with tequila involving throbbing headaches and cold plunges. He regrets having a few tequila shots too many and then feels like an idiot. The color commentator’s oddities don’t stop there. He then takes a cold plunge in the morning, still jarred by a hangover.

He divulged, “This happened many times, felt good because I had many tequilas and then get up in the morning like ‘oh, you a f**king idiot’, you know. Like little bit of headache, dragging my as*, and then I get in a cold plunge and just feel like an idiot.”

Previously, the UFC personnel resorted to cold plunges to loosen up his body. In an Instagram post dating back to July 2022, Rogan did a cold plunge at 34 degrees. He mentioned, “My body feels soo good… All my soreness, that was generally just an ordinary part of everyday life, a massive amount of that has been dissipated.”
