Leon Edwards and his team at Renegade MMA have recently been in the limelight after Ian Garry’s claims. Reports suggest that Ian Garry has been advised not to return to the gym. In an interview on his Instagram account, Garry gives us an insight into the reason behind the ban.

While Garry trains at different gyms, he spends most of his time at Kill Cliff, FC in South Florida. However, when the fighter is in England, he spends most of his time at Team Renegade. The fighter in his Instagram clears that he is now banned from the gym where Edwards trains. He claims that Edward’s coach doesn’t want him to feel insecure, so he is forbidden.

While Garry is a talented fighter, his recent Instagram post has gathered a lot of attention lately. Ian Garry, on his Instagram page, clears the whole situation. He said:’ ‘No, I was not thrown out of Leon Edwards’ gym. I was told not to return because we were potentially on a collision path. So there are two owners of the gym, Tom and Ash, who I get along with. Both said it was a privilege to work with me. They enjoyed working on the mats.”

“Leon’s head coach was the one who had the issue and told me not to come back because he has his own best fighters and his own fighters’ interests at heart. He was the one who had an issue, and he does not own the gym. I don’t go there because of Leon; I go to Renegade because of Henry Clemson and Tom Breese. Garry goes to Birmingham because of a striking coach outside of Renegade Cleminson and Breese.’

Gary finished the clip by saying that Edward’s coach did not want him on the mat because he feels Edwards might be insecure. He may also sense a threat from the reigning title holder. While Garry makes some serious claims, it will be interesting to see if these two are seen inside the ring in the future.
