It almost seems like the whole world is eager to witness Jon Jones make a comeback to the UFC. And Martial arts-trained actor Michael Jai White spoke his mind about the future of Jones. Considered one of the greatest technical fighters in the history of MMA, Jones’ reputation precedes him. Even UFC Boss Dana White can’t wait to see his much-anticipated clash against Francis Ngannou. Rumor in the camp is that Jones looks tougher than he ever did. And wants to conquer a new league in the heavyweight division. However, ‘Spawn’ Actor believes the former two-time light heavyweight champion has one ace up his sleeve. And this might prove tricky for the other fighters in the heavyweight.

Moreover, Jai White clarified that NBA Legend,  Shaquille O’Neal won’t get anywhere near the Octagon, at least for the time being. Simply because the rules of the competition wouldn’t accommodate a man of his stature.

The actor also believes that the heavyweight division will see a new champion. And current heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou has to be ready for the fight of his life.

Shaquille O’Neal needs a whole new division for his weight class

Jai White also stated that Jones avoided a major problem. The American actor explained that “265 is the limit” for the heavyweight division. So, NBA Legend Shaquille O’Neal would actually not qualify for the heavyweight. Because he weighs over 300 pounds. And, The UFC doesn’t have a separate “super heavyweight” division for that limit as there aren’t as many skilled fighters, who fall under that weight class.
