Joe Rogan, host of the JRE (Joe Rogan Experience) podcast and UFC commentator is known for his incredible dedication to fitness. He is the co-founder of the supplements and health company, Onnit, which was purchased by Unilever, in 2021. The JRE has been a platform for Rogan to promote interesting health trends and unique supplements for his fans. From the ‘carnivore diet’ to sensory deprivation tanks, Rogan’s dedication to maintaining his physical and mental health is evident. However, not all of his endorsements have sat well with the fans.
In the post by Onnit on Instagram, Rogan can be seen holding a bottle of ‘Alpha Brain’. The supplement is a nootropic, claimed to enhance cognitive function and brain power.
But it’s important to note that the US FDA (Food and Drug Administration) released a statement in 2019 warning consumers about the claims made by companies selling such products. And Rogan’s promotion of ‘Alpha Brain’ has caused the fans to proclaim him a ‘sell-out’ for his behavior!
Here’s how the community reacted:
Fans pointed out that Rogan seemed not to be getting any benefits from the products himself
That’s why he’s always messing up in interviews and stuttering
Others humorously pointed out the meme potential of the image
The photos with photoshopping out the bottle for something else is going to be amazing
Some see it as a sellout move by Rogan, highlighting his financial success and willingness for paid endorsements.
So Joe finally sold out huh? Sad day.

Others view it as a natural progression, labeling him a “snake oil salesman”
It’s the natural progression… now he’s literally a snake oil salesman
Some fans observe Rogan’s influencer side.

One fan humorously shares a unique approach to memory loss using weed!
