He wasn’t the usual happy-go-lucky Diego Lopes. He was f*cking screaming at me.” However, Lopes, in his latest interview, cleared the air surrounding the entire incident.

There have been instances in the past where fighters have found themselves on the wrong side of Dana White. However, it seems Diego Lopes is still one of the favorite fighters of the UFC head honcho. The Brazilian has impressed one and all with his recent performances, and White is no different. However, things went a bit out of hand after his recent victory over ‘T-City’. On most occasions, the featherweight contender is composed after his victories.
Moreover, Lopes is still in the good books of UFC President. The title contender recently sat down for a chat with Danny Segura and shared his plans in the division. However, one of the topics of discussion in the podcast was the alleged altercation that happened between him and White. He offered his perspective on the incident, clarifying that the situation had been exaggerated by fans.
Lopes stated his role in the incident and said, “Well I asked him to excuse me if I had yelled at him or something, I don’t know excuse me! It wasn’t my intention, don’t take it like that it wasn’t my intention to take it that way. And later he answered the message and told me no don’t worry or whatever. The press conference was a complete joke! He said congratulations and keep going. Well, with that one, I was calm.”
