Conor McGregor is gearing up for a much-anticipated return to the octagon. Originally slated for a year-end comeback, there’s been a slight shift in the timeline, with a six-month gap now in the cards. Fans might just have to wait until UFC 300 to see McGregor’s return.
In McGregor’s unwavering dedication to his physical condition and mass, one cannot overlook the conspicuous transformation he has recently undergone. Evidently, his nutritionist has played a pivotal role in steering him towards the attainment of that impressively sculpted physique. It is intriguing to draw parallels with comments made by Joe Rogan, approximately a year ago, which resonate with McGregor’s metamorphosis. Now, more information about the same has come to light in our recent episode of the EssentiallySports exclusive, ES Fancast.

Back in 2022, Joe Rogan, while having a conversation with his guest Stavros Halkais in his podcast episode #1909 stated that McGregor got mad at him because of his comments regarding McGregor’s urine sample. Rogan claimed that McGregor’s ‘p*ss could melt the USADA cup.’ Rogan later claimed that McGregor looks great and has an awesome physique.
A year since then, McGregor is looking to be in a much more impressive physique. The recent picture by McGregor on his social media handles showcases a leaner fighting frame McGregor as opposed to his jacked figure from a year ago. These transitions can be attributed to McGregor’s nutritionist, Tristan Kennedy.
Recently, our host Noah Lack had the privilege to host Tristin Kennedy in the latest installment of the EssentiallySports exclusive ‘ES Fancast’. During the conversation, Lack inquired Kennedy about McGregor’s insane physique and his opinion on it.
Kennedy said, “Again, man, he’s just on his fitness and nutritional protocols and foods, and he doesn’t miss a beat. You know, so I guess when you have a demand like that, being in camps, it sets a certain demand on your body. We had a specific goal in Marine camps to be at a specific body composition. I think people have this misconception that fighters should be ripped and lean all year long.”
Kennedy further added, ” Now, Conor does keep his lean very well because he’s on his diet and all that, but he obviously got a bit bigger. Again, we were able to provide more food. I alluded to more food; more volume leads to more nutrients earlier on. That’s what we were able to do, and that’s what you see – this kind of buffed-up man ready to start to move really well and stuff like that. So, it worked out well.”

Joe Rogan in that podcast added, “Conor got mad because I said his p*ss looked like it could melt the USADA cup. He said that my p*ss could melt the USADA cup too. And he’s correct. “Conor, I’m not hating that, you look great. And by the way, he does have a legitimate reason for doing whatever the f*** he is doing, even if he is doing nothing. He broke his leg. It’s a different thing, like just trying to heal.”
Rogan also went into detail and explained to his guest how the recovery might affect McGregor‘s movement. He said, “It has screws in it now and a plate. The only way it makes it better apparently is if they put a rod through the entire bone, then it will be actually stronger, but that could compromise your movement. And also it takes f*****g forever to heal. I get it Conor.”
