At the moment, the UFC star’s concern for people who go through a rough patch came to light through a cancer survivor. Richie McPeak, the sarcoma cancer amputee, recently tweeted about the great work done by ‘The Notorious’ and his team to help him stay physically strong while going through his treatment.

The team behind McGregor FAST made sure that they tried their best to help the survivor. The McGregor FAST is a system developed to help athletes push their limits and train under the guidance of trainers, doctors, and sports scientists. The team learned about a rare kind of cancer that McPeak was going through, which even caused him to lose one of his legs. Furthermore, they chose to help McPeak by sending some essential items that helped him train. This included gloves signed by the champ-champ and an exclusive jump rope.

 

McPeak shared a video of his training using the jump rope. Along with the video, he wrote, “A team of brothers with hearts of Lions And room for kindness sent me McGregor fast gear to help battle sarcoma cancer. Signed gloves from the Champ Champ, exclusive jump rope… Michael Rutledge, Conor McGregor, McGregor Fast gear, and the entire McGregor team, thank you.

The biggest surprise came for McPeak when McGregor retweeted his post and wrote “Richie McPeak! Work ethic and mindset, legendary.

In the video shared by McPeak, he also talks about how doctors told him the sarcoma cancer would kill him, but he was not ready to give up. Furthermore, the cancer survivor ensured that he trained himself to improve his health. At the moment, McPeak is also running a successful business.

It’s not the first time the fans are getting to see the kind side of McGregor. ‘The Notorious’, along with his team, has helped many to have a better life. The best example of the Irishman’s kind side was visible when he helped the homeless people in Dublin by building houses for them in 2019. These acts of the UFC superstar show that he is not only the tough man that fans see inside the octagon but also a kind human being who is ready to help anyone in need.
