The conclusion of UFC 274 saw the former lightweight champion Charles ‘Do Bronx’ Oliveira extend his win streak to 11. The Brazilian’s unfortunate weight-cutting mishap saw him relinquish the title. However, the mixed martial artist didn’t allow the incident to get to him as he scored a first-round submission win over Justin Gaethje and later called out Conor McGregor.

‘Do Bronx’ made his intentions quite clear in the post-fight interview as he took aim at McGregor. Oliveria put the entire division on notice and called out McGregor for a fight. He said, “Hey Dana White, I don’t care, just put anybody in front of me, I’m not gonna choose. Hey Conor McGregor, are you coming up or are you gonna run away?”

The 32-year-old mixed martial artist called for a lightweight fight with the star for the vacant title. In response, ‘The Notorious’ did not showcase any interest in returning to the 155lbs division.

Brazilians demand Conor McGregor accept the fight

The latest Instagram post of the Irish mixed martial artist has fallen prey to angry fans. Oliveria’s followers took over the Instagram post and called out the Irishman to accept the fight.

One fan stated that the Oliveira would get him soon, ‘Charles vai te pegar 🇧🇷’ (Charles will get you), while another demanded McGregor to stop running, “Vai correr?🇧🇷” (Are you going to run?).

This fan seemed quite ecstatic to see the mixed martial artist in great shape. It looks like the former champion is hungry again and his return will be fantastic.

“A post without liquor that’s a good sign get hungry again to become champion again all the best”.

What angered Brazilians to hijack Conor McGregor’s post?

As per a report by BJPenn, McGregor stated he isn’t sure about moving back but in subsequent showcased interest in facing Michael Chandler. With a now-deleted tweet, he offered his thoughts on the matter and this response could have angered Brazilian fans.

He said, “I’m not sure I wish to cut the weight. I am really enjoying being built like a refrigerator. I feel I want to fight at this size just to watch it back lol. But I’d love to fight the Brazilian, 100%! I love Brazil and I’m unbeaten against Brazil. All KO’s. I’ve some thinking to do.”
