Joe Rogan might be a commentator at the UFC, but he is also very conscious about his own fitness. He is trained in Jiu-Jitsu and on a number of occasions, he has demonstrated his expertise as a trained athlete.
Back in January 2020, he went through an incredible transformation. The MMA analyst looked fit. He attributed his body transformation to a special ‘carnivore diet’ which he followed for one month.
In a video, fans saw him showing off his improved physique, as well as explaining the benefits of the diet he was following. According to Rogan, he lost an impressive amount of weight. Further, he also stated that his energy levels were much better than before.

Rogan said, “I did the carnivore diet for all of January. I lost 12 pounds, gained a ton of energy. My energy levels were completely flat the whole month. No ups and downs from crashing after eating.”
“I had a belly; a lot of people made fun of me. Fat-shamed me. I lost all my fat. I lost all the belly, I lost my love handles.”
“…it was tremendously beneficial and I also have an autoimmune disorder. It’s called vitiligo and my vitiligo improved. I had a bunch of white spots fill in. … This is as good as I felt in a long time.”

His body transformation in 2020 wasn’t his only impressive feat. In 2018, he successfully left behind Francis Ngannou’s PowerKube record after a powerful kick to the pad. However, ‘The Predator‘ had used a punch, whereas Rogan used a kick.
His incredible strength isn’t surprising because he knows several forms of fighting. In fact, he can sometimes be seen demonstrating moves on fighters. For his age, he sports a great build with tremendous power.
