In the 30 years of its existence, countless fighters have come and gone in the UFC. A handful of them made their marks and are still celebrated by fans while many others just fade into oblivion. Meanwhile, some have built a close association with the brand without ever being part of the action inside the cage. Bruce Buffer, the veteran announcer, is a perfect example, and Joe Rogan, the longtime color commentator, is another. On that list is another name, perhaps the most glamorous one of the lot – veteran UFC ring card girl, Brittney Palmer.
At the World MMA Awards 2023 on Thursday, Palmer announced that she was retiring from her role in the UFC. This was the perfect evening for the 36-year-old to lay down her Octagon girl shorts, as she had just won the Best Octagon Girl of the Year Award at the ceremony. As she calls it a day on more than a decade of announcing rounds to UFC fans watching around the globe, let us take a look at Palmer’s career and her achievements both inside and outside the UFC.
