Fans react to Drew Dober’s win at UFC Vegas 66
Drew Dober (34) and Bobby Green (36) put on a show at UFC Fight Night: Cannonier vs Strickland. Dober was riding a two-fight win streak, beating Terrance McKinney and Rafael Alves while Green lost his last fight against Islam Makhachev.
Green found a lot of early success, making the most of his reach advantage over the 5’8″ Dober. However, Dober’s chin help up the initial onslaught as he marched forward looking to land a finishing blow.
Dober’s resilience finally paid off halfway into the second round as he connected cleanly on Green. He then followed a downed Green to the mat to do the final honors.
That hands down style looks savage and is low key tough to go up against if you can’t replicate it in training camp. Great scrap so far let’s see if Dober can adjust. #UFCVegas66

Dober gave credit to Green after that hard-fought battle. He said, “Can I say, Bobby Green is the only man in the last quarter to say yes to me? Take chances, chase greatness. Being perfect is boring. He’s fast, he’s hard to hit. He can talk. It was hard to deal with but I’m blessed that I found it.”
Post his win, Dober called out fellow UFC lightweight Jalin Turner for another scrap. “I think there’s a guy in the top 10 … Jalin Turner. I would love those problems. Please say yes.”
