UFC bantamweight contender Sean O’Malley credits his sudden rise in stardom to famous rapper Snoop Dogg. Moreover, he recently won against former bantamweight champion Petr Yan via the judge’s decision. In addition, this win has boosted him to the #1 contender in the promotion’s bantamweight division. It was a major jump in the rankings. Although he is doing well inside the octagon, he surprisingly credited his fan base outside the MMA community to the rapper.

The gangster rapper teaming up with Urijah Faber for ‘Snoopcast’ as an opening for Dana White’s Contender Series was a pleasant surprise. It got a heartwarming twist when ‘Sugar’ secured a knockout against Alfred Khashakyan and Snoop Dogg was heard shouting ‘O’Malley’.

Moreover, during a recent JRE podcast appearance, he explained how Snoop’s reaction to the fight and his social media posts boosted his career to new heights.
He said, “Yeah, that was (crazy). It’s so crazy looking at my career, how things have played out so perfect. he fact Snoop Dogg was there.” He even mentioned that as Snoop Dogg kept on posting him, he was gaining a lot of followers.
Back when Snoop Dogg made O’Malley ‘float’
Sean O’Malley got a rare chance to share a smoke with Snoop Dogg after his knockout win against Alfred Khashakyan. Moreover, he explained how the whole night was so ecstatic. Besides, he had signed for UFC, debuted for them, and won the first fight.
