Conor McGregor is infamous for posting provocative tweets. But, one of his tweets has turned his own fans against him. The 34-year-old managed to get himself in trouble again, through his Twitter account.

But ‘Funkmaster’ Aljamain Sterling comes to his defense. The ‘Funkmaster’ shared McGregor’s tweet and related to it. A lot of fans might not be happy with McGregor’s take on recent fights, so they expressed it to the former double-division champion.

Aljamain Sterling backs Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor is a superstar in the UFC. The 34-year-old has broken many records as a fighter and a showman. His iconic lines during press conferences are some of the most memorable moments for his fans. The Irishman has a habit of talking trash about his opponent. McGregor has been away from the Octagon too. His last fight was against Dustin Poirier. He lost the fight and suffered a leg injury. And hasn’t returned to the Octagon since then. He recently tweeted, “Let their hate motivate” on his Twitter. He tweeted this after UFC 280 action.

The current bantamweight champion, Aljamain Sterling, fought against T.J Dillashaw in UFC 280. He came out on top after Dillashaw suffered an unfortunate shoulder injury. Sterling retweeted McGregor’s tweet and said, “Nothing more powerful in my book,” talking about how hate motivates him. Sterling has received hate regarding many factors lately, including supporting Andrew Tate. Funkmaster backed the internet influence when he was banned from all social media, recently. His own fans, who favored Dillashaw at UFC 280, hated him for siding with the classless act that is Tate.
