Israel Adesanya is already on a mission to win against Sean Strickland in the online war. The bout between the two is scheduled to take place at UFC 293 on September 9 at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney. Earlier, it was decided that Adesanya would lock horns against Dricus Du Plessis, but the latter faced an injury and pulled out of the bout before anything could be official. It was Adesanya himself who posted a video on Twitter calling out Strickland instead of Du Plessis. Later, the UFC made their fight official, and ever since then, the two fighters hardly miss any chance to mock each other.

Recently, Adesanya even criticized the unacceptable trash talk of Strickland through his YouTube channel. ‘Stylebender’ accused ‘Tarzan’ of calling him the first Chinese champion. He felt that Strickland was belittling the achievements of Zhang Weili, who is the real first Chinese champion. Now, Adesanya has once again pointed out how Strickland has no control over his mouth, and fans join the UFC middleweight champion in mocking Strickland. Recently, Adesanya took to his Instagram handle to post a video of Sean Strickland trash-talking in the pre-fight press conference of UFC 276. In the main event of UFC 276, Adesanya locked horns against Jared Cannonier and won the bout by unanimous decision. In the same event, Strickland fought Alex Pereira, and unfortunately, he was knocked out in the very first round.

In the video posted by ‘Izzy,’ Strickland was capturing the attention of the audience with an X-rated rant. Later, one of the audience members asked Strickland, who was the best striker among the fighters present. Without any hesitation, ‘Tarzan’ said that since he couldn’t take his name, he would take the name of Alex Pereira.

Further, he mocked ‘Stylebender’ by mentioning how Pereira has defeated Adesanya in kickboxing. This provoked the current UFC 185 lbs champion, and he reminded Strickland of how he slapped him on the back, at the backstage of the pre-fight press conference. Along with the video, Adesanya also wrote, “Behind the scenes it ain’t what it seems.” When fans came across Adesanya mocking Strickland, they also joined him.

Fans join ‘Stylebender’ and pull the leg of ‘Tarzan’

Some of the fans made fun of Strickland getting slapped on the back by Adesanya. A fan went on to claim that Adesanya would beat Strickland at UFC 293 and will make a video out of it. While some other fans joked about the video that Adesanya shared.
