Conor McGregor made headlines with his recent appearance at the NBA finals. The Irishman was in attendance for the game between Miami Heat and Denver Nuggets. ‘The Notorious’ was sporting a bright red tracksuit in support of Heat. The UFC star was not the only one in attendance at the event. The star-studded affair had several celebrity figures and sports stars in the audience including soccer stars Neymar Jr., Vinicius Jr., musicians Ozuna and J. Balvin, and comedian Chris Tucker. Much like McGregor, Nermay was also supporting Miami Heat and greeted Jimmy Butler prior to their loss against the Nuggets.

Now, a picture of an interaction between Conor McGregor and Neymar Jr. is going viral on social media. Fans are having a field day with the snap of the awkward interaction between the pair. In the picture that surfaced on social media, Neymar Jr. can be seen hugging Conor McGregor. What caught the fans’ attention was how McGregor did not even appear to reciprocate the hug.

In the picture taken from behind Conor McGregor, we see Neymar Jr. about to embrace his arms around the UFC star. However, McGregor maintains his frame, leaving space for the PSG star’s greeting arms but without using his to return the same.

The picture popped up on a Facebook post and the fans had a field day trolling the pair. Considering both Conor McGregor and Neymar Jr. have their fair share of haters owing to their theatrics outside the cage and on the soccer field respectively, both stars received a fair amount of trolling in the comments under the post.

McGregor also faced backlash after he injured the Miami Heat mascot Burnie during a promotional skit for his ‘TIDL Sport’ recovery spray. The man in the costume had to be taken to a hospital and received medical care after the mishap.
