Although there is no official confirmation as to when Conor McGregor will return, the UFC CEO assured that they are working to see that it happens at the right time for the fans and for ‘The Notorious’ as well. “We talked tonight. I’m in Abu Dhabi, he’s in Dubai. We’re gonna figure something out. We’re talking,” said Dana White. It remains to be seen how things pan out for the former double champion.
Colby Covington isn’t holding back with his criticisms of LeBron James and Tavis Kelce
Despite losing his comeback fight against Leon Edwards at UFC 296, Colby Covington seems to be busy making appearances on podcasts or in interviews. He recently sat down with Tucker Carlson for a chat as ‘Chaos’ opened up about disliking NBA star LeBron James. Covington shared the same sentiment toward the Lakers’ star as he did earlier.
“You got people like LeBron James… he makes all his money in his shoe deals in China with these women that are working for pennies on the dollar in these sweatshops and that’s how he makes his money,” said Colby Covington. The welterweight star didn’t just stop there. He even sounded off on NFL star Travis Kelce, indicating that Covington does not like him either.
“Then you get Tavis Kelce, who’s Mr. Pfizer, telling people he’s paid and bought for by Satan himself pretty much. He sold his soul to the devil, and he’s telling people [to] get the double jab,” ‘Chaos’ added. If and when LeBron James and Travis Kelce decide to respond to these statements from Covington, it will be an interesting site to see.
Joe Rogan shared a piece of advice with an MMA referee
UFC referee Mark Smith was nominated for the ‘Referee of the Year’ honor, which was won by Herb Dean, for this year’s Annual World MMA Awards. On the red carpet, he spoke to the media and revealed that UFC color commentator Joe Rogan once offered an important piece of advice when it comes to dealing with people making remarks online about some of the errors referees make when they are officiating fights. Smith said, “I had a talk with Joe Rogan a couple of years and he said, ‘Keep it simple.'”

Joe Rogan has been the king of the online space for a while. His experience dealing with such comments online is considerably different. As such, the 56-year-old advised Mark Smith to stay away from people who charge him with illogical criticism. “Some people are gonna give constructive criticism but some people that are going to give silly criticism or idiotic criticism, just gotta stay away from that,” said the UFC referee.
