Conor McGregor is gearing up for the premiere of his Netflix docuseries, ‘McGregor Forever’. It is his second Netflix project which looks set to get people to tune in. The director Gotham Chopra appeared in an interview with ‘BroBible’ and mentioned that ‘The Notorious’ shared some similar traits with the likes of NBA star LeBron James and NFL legend Tom Brady.
Gotham Chopra, co-founder of Chopra Media, is a well-known personality in the sporting community. He gained recognition due to his success in making sports-centric films. He is also famous for working with sporting icons like Kobe Bryant, Michael Strahan, Simone Biles, LeBron James, and Tom Brady.

The director of ‘McGregor Forever’ spoke about McGregor’s genius mind behind all the chaos he surrounds himself with. Chopra stated that Conor McGregor has a lot of drive for success and excellence. He said, “Despite all of the carnival atmospheres when you’re often around with him, especially in the promotion and preparation of a fight, when he’s training, he’s a mad scientist, a perfectionist.”
Chopra then spoke about the other major athletes he had worked with and found some similar traits within the former ‘champ champ’. He claimed that Conor McGregor was just as invested in his craft as Tom Brady or LeBron James. Gotham Chopra added, “He’s actually very similar to Tom Brady, Steph Curry [and] LeBron James, all these people I have worked with. He’s obsessive.”
The former double champion never stops
Gotham Chopra also spoke about McGregor’s determination to keep going and keep himself occupied. The Irishman never seems to skip even one session of training. He said, “Never been around him [Conor] when he’s like, ‘You know what, guys? I think I have had enough for the day [or] let’s cut this training session short.’ [It’s] quite the opposite.”

The ‘McGregor Forever’ director praised the Irishman for his work ethic and tireless commitment to change for the better. Although he has reached a level of fame that no longer requires him to fight, he is still obsessed with improving himself as a fighter. His achievements speak about his dedication to his craft.

This Netflix special gives MMA fans an inside look at ‘The Notorious’ recovery from the leg injury he sustained in his trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier in 2021. The documentary and the new season of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ both will feature the Irish superstar, Conor McGregor.
