Conor McGregor received some backlash over the weekend for his appearance at the Miami Heat vs Denver Nuggets game. The Irishman was in attendance for the NBA finals game 4 and participated in a skit during half-time. He unintentionally injured the Miami Heat mascot during their skit and received a lot of heat after the news broke.
To make things worse for ‘Mystic Mac’, Heat has lost again to the Nuggets in game 5. With the win, Nuggets have secured their maiden NBA title after going 4-1 up against Heat. The score at the end of the game on Monday night read 94-89 in favor of Denver.
Now, a Miami-based former UFC star has gone off on Conor McGregor for the team’s loss. Further, he has accused McGregor of being the opposite of the famed luck of the Irish and throwing Miami Heat off their game with his presence over the weekend. Miami Heat and Denver Nuggets faced off in Game 4 of the NBA finals this past weekend. The game ended 108-95 in favor of the Nuggets in their opponent’s territory.

Despite the confident claims of their star man, Jimmy Butler, Miami Heat fumbled the ball in their own court. Now, retired UFC star Jorge Masvidal has claimed that Conor McGregor may have something to do with the poor performance of the team in these last two games. ‘Gamebred’ took to Twitter to send a message to ‘The Notorious’ hours after the disastrous result of game 5.

Jorge Masvidal did not hold off in his message to McGregor. In a recent tweet, the former UFC BMF champion wrote, “Connor u f***ing pu**y u came here and threw the chakras of the mascot and team so for that u banned b*tch.”

While Masvidal announced that McGregor is banned from attending Heat’s games, there are no official statements regarding the same. McGregor and the Heat mascot Burnie were in a promotional skit for the Irishman’s ‘TIDL Sport’ recovery spray.

The skit saw McGregor knocking down Burnie with one punch and then following it up with another punch to the mascot on the floor. As others dragged Burnie out of the court, McGregor sprayed ‘TIDL’ on the mascot’s chin where he took the punches.
Later, reports surfaced that the person in the Burnie suit needed medical attention after suffering injuries from McGregor’s punches. McGregor, who received boos during his appearance on the court, received more backlash on social media following this news. Now, he has another Miami Heat fan, Jorge Masvidal, taking an issue with his appearance.
