Joe Rogan is a massive sport and fitness enthusiast. The comedian has his eyes everywhere when it comes to new techniques of exercise and physical therapies. On multiple occasions, the podcaster has laid emphasis on the importance of recovery.
The UFC commentator discussed the same siting the example of, NBA player, LeBron James, and how it’s smart of him to spend millions on recovery.

Fellow comedians, Tony Hinchcliffe and Hans Kim accompanied Rogan in the podcast. During the conversation, Hinchcliffe revealed that he shared the same area as the Basketball player and they attended rival schools.

Upon hearing this, Rogan asked out of curiosity, “did you play against LeBron James…?”. In response, the comedian said, “I wrestled, and wrestling and basketball are both winter sports. So we went against each other in both. He’s watched me wrestle and I’ve watched him play basketball.”

Rogan further enquired, “Do you remember him?”. Hinchcliffe replied, “Oh God, yes, he was the news story. He was literally on the local news at like 15. Every single night. … He was that good.”
Further in the conversation, Rogan talked about James’s inclination toward physical therapy and recovery while also talking about the insane amount of money that he spends on it.
Rogan said, “That dude spends over a million dollars a year just like on massage, therapy, and taking care of his body.”
Kim chimed in saying, “he needs to”. Meanwhile, Rogan concluded by saying, “smart”.
How did the podcast episode come about?
The podcast hosted the same comedians who performed on Rogan’s recent stand-up tour in Columbus. They built the show on a mammoth scale and saw a massive crowd attend the event.

They were also treated to a surprise when comic legend Dave Chappelle showed up on the stage. Rogan described the moment stating, “it’s probably the greatest round of applause I’ve ever seen anyone get in my life. Not probably, definitely.” Moreover, Chappelle delivered a surprise performance.
