Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is a well-known figure who frequently stirs controversy online. His past feuds with Tesla CEO Elon Musk and podcaster Joe Rogan, along with his tendency to engage in public X disputes, have solidified his reputation as a combative personality. This was recently underscored by a Rogan’s guest in his podcast. In his latest episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” Joe Rogan was accompanied by new guest stand-up comedian Jimmy Dore, where they discussed Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban’s “maniac” nature.
Joe Rogan’s podcast is known for its discussion on sports, politics, conspiracy theories, and science. In the JRE episode #2173, the podcaster along with his guest, discussed renowned journalist and WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, who published leaked information from the United States Army. During his release, Assange was required to cover the expenses related to his deportation to America. While discussing Assange, Jimmy Dore humorously raised an intriguing question.
He asked Joe Rogan why someone like Mark Cuban, known to have a good friendship with Julian Assange, did not send his private plane to bring Assange back to safety. Joe Rogan sarcastically replied, “He’s busy arguing with people on Twitter.” Jimmy Dore chuckled, saying, “Oh, is he’s a maniac and he’s wrong about almost everything” while the podcasters affirmed by adding, “He’s wrong about quite a bit.”

Then, amazed, Dore proceeded to ask Rogan, “Does Mark Cuban have time to do these things, given he has a company worth $85 million to run?” To this, the UFC commentator replied, “It’s like a sign of mental illness to be arguing with people all day on Twitter, in my opinion. I think when I see people arguing on Twitter, I’m like, ‘Oh that’s a person who’s racked with anxiety, that’s a very unhealthy person.'”
The beef between the podcaster and the business tycoon Mark Cuban is not new; it all started with Joe Rogan’s remark on the pharmaceutical industry last year. It was personal for Mark Cuban because he is also involved in the pharmaceutical industry.

Mark Cuban criticized Joe Rogan
Mark Cuban didn’t like Joe Rogan’s statement about calling the pharma industry owned by “heartless monsters” last year. While he agreed with Rogan’s concern about something fishy inside the industry, Cuban didn’t like Joe Rogan’s characterization of the entire pharmaceutical industry. He also emphasized the fact these pharmaceutical companies have saved countless lives.

In a further response via his X account in June 2023, Cuban wrote, “Way to talk in generalities Joe. Not saying there aren’t a lot of f*cked-up things about pharma. That’s why we created Costplusdrugs.com. But to ignore that the same industry has saved who knows how many lives is bulls**t and you know it.”
Mark Cuban had claimed that the podcaster’s statement regarding vaccines had undermined the morale of doctors, scientists, and researchers who were hesitant to give their time on this issue. As of now, there has been no reply from Mark Cuban regarding what Jimmy Dore and Joe Rogan discussed regarding him on the latest podcast episode.
