St-Pierre’s 2009 began with him defending his welterweight crown against BJ Penn in a rematch. While Penn initially did well in the rematch, St-Pierre took Penn down at will after the second round. ‘Rush’ passed his guard and even landed punches, before earning a corner stoppage at the end of round 4.
