There is no doubt that UFC fighters are some of the most skilled combatants in the world. As such, lightweight star Bobby Green recently discussed the outcome of a hypothetical fight between him and NBA star LeBron James. He claimed that he’d make quick work of the Lakers’ star without breaking too much sweat.
LeBron James is a 4-time NBA champion, who’s become one of the greatest basketball players of all time. Moreover, he is no small individual. James stands at 6 foot 9 inches tall and weighs around 250 pounds. However, despite his size, Bobby Green claims to have no problems in handling the NBA star.

Bobby Green rates skills more than the size
Bobby Green is coming off a win at UFC 291 against Tony Ferguson as he talked about his upcoming fight against Grant Dawson during a recent interview with ‘TMZ’.
Then LeBron James’ name popped up and Green claimed that a fight between him and the Lakers’ star would not be a close contest. The lightweight fighter said, “If LeBron wanted to fight with me, it wouldn’t be close.”
Meanwhile, the interviewer reminded Green about the 6 foot 9 frame of James and how that will be a big factor in a fight. But the UFC fighter seemed to have no problems with that because he believes that LeBron James doesn’t have the skills to get it on against a real fighter.
“He’s a big dude, but he doesn’t have the skills. I am sorry. Skills pay the bills, sir,” said Bobby Green. Moreover, there is another reason why the lightweight star could decide to fight LeBron James, and it is related to their shared monikers.
Green is ready to take on the LeBron James for the ‘King’ moniker
Bobby Green has been using the nickname ‘King’ for a long time. Similarly, LeBron James also has the same garnered a lot of respect for his achievements and was named ‘King James’ by the masses. With this in mind, Green claimed that he had no problems fighting for the bragging rights of the moniker.

“In a drop of a dime [on fighting LeBron James]. You know, in a heartbeat, without even thinking about it. I’ll wax his as*,” said Bobby Green. It seems like the 37-year-old fighter is not backing down from this fight.
It will be interesting to see if LeBron James chooses to respond to these statements made by Bobby Green. However, it is unlikely that both of these athletes will ever fight inside the Octagon. Nevertheless, the world has witnessed many crossover fights as of late and it may not come as a surprise if this fight does take place in the not-so-distant future.
