All is well between Conor McGregor and Burnie. The UFC star had come under severe scrutiny over the weekend after he accidentally punched Miami Heat mascot Burnie during a skit. Now, McGregor himself has clarified the situation and assured that everything is fine between himself and the man in the costume.

Conor McGregor was in attendance at the Kaseya Center this past weekend for game 4 of the NBA finals. ‘The Notorious’ sported a bright red tracksuit as Miami Heat took on Denver Nuggets with the championship hanging in the balance. During the half-time show, McGregor joined in on a promotional skit for his ‘TIDL Sport’ recovery spray alongside Burnie.

The former double champion knocked down Burnie with one punch and followed up with another. He sprayed TIDL on the mascot as he was being dragged off the court. When news broke that Burnie was hurt by McGregor’s punch, the Irishman faced severe backlash.
