Israel Adesanya is a special individual. His extraordinary striking, elite defense, and exceptional fight IQ combined with a unique and colorful personality have made him a fan favorite (and also a polarising figure) in the UFC. Adesanya’s documentary, ‘Stylebender’ is set for release in theatres globally in late September. The Yoruba took the stage at the premiere of his doc, and spoke about the film extensively, praising the team for their efforts and hard work.

UFC Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya shouted out Michael Jordan and his Netflix documentary ‘The Last Dance’, whose format he originally wanted to follow. But, he credited the director of his documentary, Zoe McIntosh for taking a different approach that works better for him.
“Shout out to the Last Dance Michael Jordan. He’s sitting there getting asked questions and like, responding to the guy behind the camera and being like ‘I take that personally’. But she (director Zoe McIntosh) had a different vision, and you’ll see it on here,” he said.
“This is where the third position comes into play, and you get to see me actually dive into my own mind and explore myself and even have like paradigm switches and flicks in my head,” Adesanya added.
With a stellar legacy already set in stone, Adesanya will look to add to his resume this weekend as he heads to Sydney to defend his title at UFC 293.

‘Tarzan’ and ‘Izzy’ have been going back and forth for the better part of a year, making their mutual dislike of each other clear. Adesanya, for instance, has promised to wear nail paint in his bout with Strickland as the American has expressed his disgust at Adesanya wearing nail paint. Not to mention doing a Tik Tok dance over a knocked out Strickland, if Adesanya can manage to prevail over him.
