The Pay Per View event proved to be a great experience for all present. Each bout, including the featherweight main event, delivered exciting action, which drew in notable personalities and celebrities alike. Meanwhile, one of the biggest reactions came when WWE legend Rey Mysterio was spotted at UFC 290. Yet, the highlight of the evening occurred following the PPV at Encore Beach Club.

The former 4-time NBA champion is now a part-timing DJ, going by the name of DJ Diesel. In an Instagram story shared by fellow DJ, Eric Forbes, O’Neal can be seen enjoying the party with UFC champions Israel Adesanya and UFC 290 victor, Alexander Volkanovski. There were other notable athletes as well. Nuggets star Jamal Murray, who rallied for ‘The Great’ to win last weekend, was also seen having a blast at the Encore Beach Club.

In another story, 2-time middleweight champion Israel Adesanya can also be seen sharing the stage with Shaquille O’Neal. They shook hands as the crowd went wild with the music on. It was certainly the best way for Volkanovski to celebrate one of his biggest UFC wins. The announcement of the party came a day before UFC 290, and the Australian’s win over Yair Rodriguez made the event even more special. ‘The Great’ has proved his dominance time and time again in the featherweight division. With his fifth successful title defense on the books, it remains to be seen who will test Alexander Volkanovski next. Following his win, some believe that Volkanovski has two distinct options available to him.

He could challenge the undefeated Ilia Topuria, who is on a six-fight winning streak in the promotion, or he could consider a move back to lightweight for a potential rematch with Islam Makhachev. Volkanovski expressed an interest in fighting against the reigning lightweight champion again at some point down the line.
