The Barstool Sports founder did not take too kindly to Angel Reese for mocking Caitlin Clark. He took to Twitter and referred to the LSU tigers player as a “classless piece of sh*t.” This comment enraged the fans on social media as NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal hit Portnoy back with a comment of his own.

He took notice of the NSFW remark and replied with: “and so is your mother.” However, Dave Portnoy responded to O’Neal’s comment and wrote back“Boom roasted?”

The people have seen the comments from the Barstool founder as a racial remark on Angel Reese. But Portnoy has explained on social media that his comments had nothing to do with the player’s race.

Terrance McKinney reacts to Portnoy’s comments on Angel Reese

But this time Terrance McKinney noticed Dave Portnoy’s tweet toward Angel Reese and reminded him that Barstool Sports has a history of making such remarks. He tweeted: “Typical barstool.”

McKinney seemed unhappy with what the owner of Barstool wrote.

Dave Portnoy has maintained that he did not mean to comment about Angel Reese’s race. He claims that race is clouding people’s perspectives, but he maintained his initial stance and tweeted his explanations as well. This incident has led to the LSU-Iowa match getting a lot of attention.
