Francis Ngannou, the former heavyweight champion, recently crossed paths with the strawweight sensation, Zhang Weili, at UFC’s Performance Institute. However, Ngannou, along with the UFC fans, was left speechless when Weili showed him her monstrous strength. 

The former strawweight champion has been preparing for her upcoming fight in UFC 281. She will fight in the co-main event and without a doubt, aims to win the 115lbs title back. Nonetheless, her power is, in fact, a force to be reckoned with.

Zhang Weili recently showcased her power by lifting Francis Ngannou off of his feet and balancing him on her shoulders. The video was posted on Instagram and the comments section burst with praise for the female strawweight fighter.

Francis Ngannou amazed by Zhang Weili’s strength

‘The Predator’ was in awe of Weili’s raw power, as well. He took to Twitter with nothing but praise for the 5 ft 4 in ‘Magnum’. Ngannou wrote, “I can’t believe that @zhangweilimma just picked me up like I wasn’t 293lbs.” Furthermore, he admitted that he was worried of Weili injuring herself. 

However, when he found himself airborne, he knew how strong she was. Ngannou added, “I didn’t want her to do it I was scared of her hurting her back and was trying to explain this to her….then found myself suddenly up in the air. Her strength ratio is through the roof.”

Nonetheless, Ngannou’s astonishment was visible in the video, as the two shook hands.

Previously, ‘The Predator’ made an attempt at lifting Shaquille O’Neal and succeeded with ease. The 7 ft tall basketball star dwarfed even the 6 ft 4 in Ngannou. However, the shock was real when Ngannou became the first man to lift the giant.

O’Neal revealed his astonishment. He said, “Yeah, that’s the first time I’ve been picked up.” The heavyweight warrior is capable of a lot, and lifting O’Neal was one among them.
